![]() ![]() Show me it still exists, show the GAME it still exists. Remember the days when if you were facing the wall people knew you were typing/stopped for some reason or another and they wouldn't frag your ass, everyone had a great deal of respect and camaraderie for the other player and the GAME. I would think somebody else out their besides myself who was deep into the game was collecting everything they could get their hands on. Also does anyone have any old internal contacts from PlanetQuake, top players from back in the day, contacts in other countries where Q1/2 is still very much alive ect ect ect. If any members or guest are in to the Quake Live scene maybe you could make a post on their boards, I would think that we would get some good call backs their. ![]() I have also started to dl what I can when its available, perhaps a list can be made up so those of us that are scavenging the internet for files are not all dl'n the same thing. Its all a shot in the dark, but I can guarantee this, I will not give up easily!!! we are talking about a few hundred disks here on Q1/2 related stuff. If I can find him, I know he will def still have all my old disks, I made him promise to never throw them out but to pass them on to someone else and that the next person make the same promise. trying to see if I can track him down because it has definitely become quite frustrating to find an old site then go to the downloads section only to be hit with a brick wall. He was just one of those kids you knew would appreciate it, plus he had a some trick jumping blood in him. When I decided to leave technology/gaming behind and go backpacking, I gave my gaming pc and everything with it to a young upcoming Q2 gamer addict who use to watch me play online. What I wouldn't give to have all the stuff I collected and burned back in the day for Q1/2. I'm right there with you on this idea, I actually went out and bought ten 2tb externals today for just such a purpose. CUSTOM Files are a Plus!Įvermore from CLOSED Websites where they can't be found anymore.Īfter all is said and done or wondering if I want certain things. I'm looking for 88x31 Buttons, MODS, SKINS, Apps,ISO, Walnut Creek CD's, etc etc Programs of ALL types Related. I then will host the files at the Bunker, Atomicgamer etc I'd love to go through them and preserve what I don't have. SO All I am asking is you UPLOAD EVERYTHING Quake/Quake2 Related you have. WELL- Where Do YOU Come in on all of this?ī/ (5GB with No sign up!)I would sign up to be safe. ![]() I KNOW this cause I am told "I should fo asked the week before cause they Then one day they change their OS andĮverything is gone. That I have been looking for is on people's hard drives. BUT- I find that many of these programs, apps, mods etc I have a 'few' CD's, USB Pendrives of Quake Stuff that IĪm collecting for historical and collective reasons. Noticeable omissions include Heretic II and Hexen II: Portal of Praevus, both of which were developed and published without involvement from id Software Netpack I: Extremities for Quake II, which was an official compilation of fan content and Keen Dreams, which was developed for Softdisk.Due to this economy the rate of which sites that used to carry Quake/Quake 2 goodies areĭisappearing EVERYDAY just about. Spear of Destiny (including the "lost episodes" Return to Danger and Ultimate Challenge).Wolfenstein 3D (including The Nocturnal Missions).Quake Mission Pack 2: Dissolution of Eternity.Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon.Commander Keen (all five episodes from Invasion of the Vorticons and Goodbye Galaxy!).During the summer 2012 sales, it was replaced by a "Super Id Software Pack" that also contained Rage and Quake 4, but when the summer sales ended, the "Super Id Software Pack" was discontinued without reinstating the Id Super Pack. It was a super set of both Doom Pack Complete and Heretic + Hexen Collection. It was sold for $69.99, 69,99€ or £37.99 depending on the user's current location. Id Super Pack was a download package on Steam containing all classic id Software PC titles as well as several games by Raven Software. ![]()
